Lailah was a 21 year old assassin trying to find a home in a place where magic is frowned upon. She and her sister, Calista were born with magic due to their mother being a witch. Their parents ran away from The Fallen, a place known for its magical wonder to Asriele where magical beings are looked down upon. Lailah is an assassin for the queen. She is ordered to kill the King of the Fallen Rivin, after learning she was promised to marry him.
