Chapter 1

In a world where the government is split in two there are a pair of siblings Jada and Jackson. When they were little the West side of the country split from the East and bombed every school in America. There were very few casualties, but this was no ordinary bomb. All of the children and adults in the buildings at the time had suddenly developed powers. They were then thrust into a world of training and war. This was the new normal. Jada had developed necromancy. She can now bring people back from the dead for a brief period of time immediately following their death, and when she touches a dead body she can see visions of their life...and their death. She is currently working in a morgue near the front lines. Happy with her minimal interactions with the living. Then one day she is put into the midst of battles her morgue being destroyed by the war she so hated. She starts living on base with her brother filling her days with training and developing her powers. She didn't ask to be in the middle of the war that took her parents away but her brother has given her no choice. What will she do when she learns everything she was never supposed to know.
