Years pass, and on a grocery run, she runs into none other than the leader of the Talisman's son, Arrow. She freezes, her anger rising. She moves in for the kill... Arrow, born into a conflicted world, his tribe fighting against the humans for control over a planet on the verge of collapse. He isn't human. He is a Talisman. Not just any Talisman though, He is the fifth born son to the leader of the Talisman. Years have gone by, and one by one, his older brothers have died fighting against the humans, with only the oldest and him becoming the only living sons of their father and mother's children after the youngest son is murder by a human. He vows to never trust a human, never. Then he meets Yasimen. What happens when Yasimen and Arrow meet? Will Arrow break his own promise to never trust a human again? Will Yasimen put her plan to kill into action? She's human, he's not. Will they defy the odds and unite the species? Or will all fail?
