Almost seventy years after World War III, the world is divided and America is known as the New United States. In this future, transatlantic travel is limited to certain areas, technology thrives, and the human military is replaced by mutants, called aviants - beings who possess abilities, called Houses, under influence of atmospheric pressure. Eighteen year old, Orian Phillips is one of those mutants with the ability to control the weather. After graduating high school, Orian is expected to attend the Government's school to train as a super soldier. As he undergoes different, almost deadly, challenges he also discovers a decades old secret against the Government, which is considered dangerous. Mysteriously it all becomes unlocked for him to learn and even about an existing Rebellion, The Breakout.
