Prologue

Everyone loves Riley. Most of all Riley herself. She is married to a top notch lawyer, sells houses for a living and is about to try for a baby. All very exciting. Until her past comes barging into her perfectly mundane life and drags her back to the town she grew up in. New Péché is a place known by many but visited by few. People come from all over the world to experience the newest drugs on the market or live out their deepest, darkest fantasies all under the safety and watchful eyes of the Griffin Syndicate. Though when the head of the family dies and his sons threaten to start a civil war in the paradise of pleasure, Riley is forced to return to the city she so desperately had to leave and face the man that has haunted her dreams ever since.
