I ran all the way back home, and accidently trampled Joshua Wright, the new kid in town, to the ground. "O-o-oh my God, I-i-i-i am so so sorry!" I said, visibly shaking. He stood up, wiped off his pants, stuck his hand out for me to take, and said, "Oh don't worry about... I'm Joshua Wright- hey are you okay? Looks like you've seen a ghost."

I didn't know what to say. I didn't want to just come out and say, "Oh hey Josh, I'm Laura Barker, and yeah I just seen a dead body!"

"Uh - uh -uh n-nothing's wrong, I just...." come on Laura think of a lie, "went for a little longer jog this morning, that's all."
