y/n is a week into her new school year,she has the opportunity to be popular but has no interest in it considering she only has that opportunity because puberty hit her like a truck.
Since she doesn't take the opportunity she is stuck sitting with a group of "losers" whom she grows an attachment to very quickly platonically ofc until her and Eli Moskowitz get a little closer than she would like to admit.
