Bianca de medici, bastard daughter of cosimo de medici, was sent to the French court at the age of 9.

Eight years passed and Bianca fell madly in love with the French Dauphin Francis, and the feelings were mutual. But the two are kept apart by the various individuals who want to ensure that they never marry each other.
