Makkusu and Kiki are two kids with different powers. They are always together, on missions. Living in ruins of a palace within their dreams (existing dreams), they battle various enemies protecting the palace of ruins which contain 3 crystals that are the main source of their powers. The third crystal belongs to someone unknown. But there is always something to do.
