This story is told from the point of view, of the female tribute from district twelve. Her name is Scarlet, and she lost her brother to the Hunger Games, and her parents many years before that. She had lost everything, so when the tribute chosen for her district is only twelve, to young to be part of the games, she doesn't hesitate, and that is how it all began.
