Prologue

Twins Riora and Atlas have grown up with the knowledge that magic exists. The rules are simple, hammered into them from a young age: never tell father or anyone else about their gifts, stay far, far away from any dark magic, and always protect one another. But when one of Atlas's spells goes horribly wrong, Riora must turn to a legendary being in a dark realm that she swore never to summon.
How far will Riora go to save her brother? And is there any part of Atlas left worth saving?
