3 years after the Mythological Union had been unveiled, a Gate opens up in Manhattan, then in Siberia, then in Tokyo. Gates start opening up across the world, and no one knows why. A joint operation between the countries where a gate had opened up, supporting countries, and the Union, along with other factions, was approved. It was called Operation: Gate
