Hermione and Darcy Granger are sisters. Hermione is a year older than Darcy, hence why Hermione is teaching her not to mess with Draco.

Hermione and Darcy had one rule. Never fall in love with a Malfoy. Hermione managed to avoid Draco, but Darcy was starting her 5th year and Draco had his eyes on her.
