Part 1, Chapter 1 - Farewell

When war strikes the lands of Obscuria, a woman called Melinda and her boyfriend are forced to part ways. However, she won't let it stay so. With no friends and family left to back her up, she rides off to the battlefront. There, she sees what horrible things the enemy is willing to do for victory, and she will get caught up in his plots easier than she could have ever imagined. In a helpless position, she will have to use her cunning to save everyone she loves as he's trying to convert her to the dark side, but it might not be enough against those who are dead set on leaving tragedy behind them.
