"Then you must be a whore, or very stupid..." He said and looked at my clothes again. I looked at his face which seemed to show no expression apart from his narrowed eyebrows. "..cause this ain't the place for good girls." He looked at my face again before reaching for the cigarettes from under his coat. He put one to his mouth and lit it before giving me one more gaze. Then he turned around and walked confidently towards the door. "Tell Arthur to have them ready at 9. My boys will come pick them up." He said before I heard the bell chime and watched him disappear down the street. As I became obsessed with The Peaky Blinders I thought I'd try to write a gangster story similar to it but based in Manchester. This is not historically accurate even though it sometimes refers to real places or people. I've never been to Manchester so it is not at all accurate to the actual place. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. Hope you enjoy! (Might do a sequel if it is wanted.)
