Chapter 1

"It ain't every day you see a girl with a black eye, but for me, it's an everyday occurance."
Ada is beat up at home, bullied at school, and has no friends. Love isn't a word in her vocabulary. She is about to give up on everything, including life, when she meets a five year old, homeless boy who has no parents. As Ada takes care of him, she find a new meaning to life.
