But it also comes with much regret and a deep bundle of fear. Fear of the unknown, fear that what they always thought was meant to be, simply wasn't. And although Dreams head begged him to leave, pleaded at him to escape George's hold before he got too attached, his heart beat drowned out the noise, the butterflies in his stomach carried the thoughts away and the taste of George's lips on his own only clouded his judgement even more. In a quiet universe where George works at the local library and Dream loves to lose his thoughts in cold pages of fiction books, the two boys worlds collide, filling in the missing pieces of their hearts. Though behind the kind words laced with sweet honey and the late nights filled with passionate lust, Dream feels himself slowly slipping away, losing the battle with his mind.
