marinette was always known as a shy, clumsy girl but she is actually princess marinetta cheng of china.
when a threat is sent out on marinetta, she and her best friends chloe and nino are sent to paris until it is safe for their return.
after 2 years of living in paris it is finally safe for her return, meanwhile in paris lila is making up lied about marinette which causes her to lose the respect of all her classmates except chloe and nino.
when marinette's class gets invited to the princesses coronation marinette realizes she can finally get her revenge.
