1. Pinchford Manor

In 19th century England, Lady Elizabeth and Lady Catherine Eastcombe are debuting in London society in search for a suitable husband. However, their stepmother is set on ruining their prospects of marriage to ensure that her son will become the future Earl Eastcombe and the estate will fall to him rather than the Earl's biological children.

Elizabeth relies on her good friend, Elijah Pimston, whilst the horrid Duke tries to win her affections and her hand in marriage. Meanwhile, Catherine is interested in every man with a pulse, but refuses to marry for anything other than love and sets in place a dangerous plan in order to get what she wants.
