Hope and Josie live a normal, magic-free life in Mystic Falls and are in a secret relationship because Hope is afraid of coming out. Their relationship is already going on for a few months and they love each other a lot. But sometimes being in love isn't enough. When Penelope offers the Saltzman girl an opportunity to live carefree for a while, she doesn't hesitate to take it. This story is inspired by the Folklore love triangle based on the songs august, cardigan, and betty by Taylor Swift and mixes it with the tvd universe. So the story is only half mine, and we make it very gay (if you don't already believe it is). If James is a girl, I think she is much more understandable (at least the way I interpreted it), so I rather want to believe that. For a better experience, it's smart to listen to the already mentioned songs by Taylor Swift. This way you get the references, but you will already know the ending. It's not necessary to listen to them to understand the story, though. But I highly recommend it because they are great. 1. WARNING: The Characters and story idea don't belong to me.
