Description
Ascendance of a Bookworm fanfic. These stories fit in with the established canon of the light novels as of part 3 volume 4, and take place within the timeline of the previous volumes. The first story is set in the four days between Spring Blessing and the day she gets to go home. (Part 2 Volume 3) Ferdinand's Birthday---Main had to stay in the temple away from her family all winter and into spring because she is being targeted by unknown nobles. Although she knows she is in danger, she feels nothing but loneliness. She's painfully aware that at most she only has two more years with her family before she's adopted by a noble and is sent to the royal academy. Right now all she can do is tend to her responsibilities and try to distract herself. She doesn't even realise that during the winter she has developed the habit of following the High Priest Ferdinand around like a baby chick following it's mother.
