Once upon a time in New Jersey

Set in 1980 in New Jersey. Chrissie, a 17-year-old, American Italian girl, is living in New York with her father. After being in a horrific car accident and spending months healing, she finds out her mother's necklace is stolen. She sets off on a trip to New Jersey in search of the necklace, but instead, what she finds, is love. Their friendship blossoms. But he soon realizes that there is much more to this innocent little Rose than meets the eye.
