When a young Thoroughbred- Parkway Pleasures- ruins his last chance in his career as a racehorse, his owner sends him to a slaughterhouse to meet his fate. A spunky teenager, and a fan of this underdog racer, soon learns about Parkway's near future and races to his rescue, and saves him before he is slaughtered. Renamed 'Second Chance', this sweet chestnut must learn to trust again while inspiring his new human companion, Emma, to begin riding after a terrible accident that caused a halt in her show-jumping career, and to overcome her fears.
