Prologue

My present-day life contains the most absurd twists and turns. It is, in one word, complicated. My childhood is just as confusing, if not more. There is the one reoccurring dream, and one reoccurring imaginary friend. And in all the insanity, there is one thing. One thing, among others, that I have not told a soul. One thing that could put people in danger. One thing like is complicated and difficult and absurd. My one special secret.
