She is Bella's younger sister, related to her through their mother Renee but their father's are different. Jay is a Quileute but no one knows about the affair except for Charlie and Renee. Jay is completely different than Bella. She is a snarky, smart ass, that does her own thing. She has been living with Charlie since she was little.
