Emily Brewer and her siblings had grown up with an abusive survivalist father but had learned their lessons well. Now as an adult, Emily was content with her life. She had a good job, a nice apartment and a few nice friend that she spent her free time with. That was until she had meet Derrick Gibson. He had saved her from being robbed by a panhandler in the laundromat one night. He had been so nice at first when they began dating but he soon turned possessive and controlling.
