Chapter 1:

Abused and neglected by her father and after over nine years of being treated like trash and her father's punching bag. Grace soon turns twenty-one and decided to leave it all behind and finally be free. So, she run away to Oakland, Iowa where her Aunt, Heather owns a large farm.
Her aunt accepted her in with open arms and she soon starts working on the farm, trying to find herself. She soon makes new friends and meets Dean, a ranch-hand at her aunt's farm and they soon fall madly in love with each other.
But will she finally find peace? Will she find true love? Will she finally be safe from her father and all the abuse? Will she be able to find happiness? Or will her past come back to haunt her?
