Every ten years in the world there is a ritual that happens. All the orphans in the country are rounded up and put in one area. Then they are broadcasted on live television to all the homes. What the objective of this is, is that parents and/or adults around the country can decide if they want to adopt a child based on what ones are in the home. If they choose one, that child is taken away and given to the buyers. The child is then owned for 10 years, under contract. Any time excessive is optional. Once the child is 18, and has finished their contract, they are free to live as they wish.
