When Ruth Barnabet decided to switch colleges to be with her longtime friend Marjorie Wessner, she was expecting to have a relatively normal time. But before Ruth could even step foot on campus she received an ominous message from Marjorie. "F*** off, don't come." Perhaps naively, Ruth continued on with her plans. Things aren't all bad, as she stirs up a fling with a local man, Evan Likens. Things seem to be looking up, until she discovers exactly what caused Marjorie to tell her off.
