Lia Abbott has always dreamed big. Ever since she can remember, her goal has been to move out of the small town she grew up in and live in the big city. After working her butt off in school she has her chance and has job lined up right after graduation for the fall after summer is over. But returning home one last time may have been a bad idea when her childhood crush comes back into her life. Nate Chapman has always known he would stay in Applewood to run his family's farm. Right after high school he has taken to working full time with his father in order to take over with his own family, never feeling the need to explore anything different. But when his best friend's younger sister comes back from the city for one last summer at home, he can't help but notice the woman she's become and the previously dormant attraction coming back to life. All it took was a group vacation for the two of them to begin feeling butterflies for each other again. Discovering the mutual feelings, they begin to see each other, but this union makes their own insecurities come to the surface like they never have before. There is a month before Lia is due in New York. Will they hang on to their blossoming love or leave the summer romance behind?
