What is the Hooker Prize?

The Hooker Prize is a Monthly Fantasy Writing Contest and it is all about how well you can "hook the reader" during the prologue or first chapter of your story. In 1500 to 2000 words you need to hook the judges into typing the word "HOOKED" into the comments section of your prologue or chapter, plus some commentary on why you managed to hook them into wanting to read more.
