This is Lachlan's side story from the Advertent series Ever since Nico has become a more wise and mature Alpha, his best friend Lachlan has also grown up too. He has since become Doc Baker's second in command and is the next runner up as pack doctor. He has everything going for him despite some hardships. Things have finally begun to settle down and as his knowledge threshold grows so does his heart for others. Still he can't help but wonder if he is going to be a mateless wolf. One night after an Omega slave bust, he is asked to help the doc with an animal they found amongst the Omegas. The fox like creature is unlike anything he's ever seen before and that isn't the only peculiar part. The creature also so happens to be his mate.
