Catherine and Jane have had their happy ever after and now have two children, Edward and Mary.
The twins are tough to keep up with when they're young, Edward energetic, Mary an escapist, and even tougher in their teens.
Mary of course loses her edge when she meets a girl named Jane, nicknamed Janey by Mary to limit confusion because her mother was also named Jane.
Mary now has the hugest crush on Jane, and is oblivious to the fact that she likes her back, and it all once again comes down to the attendance list to check off the boxes until Jane's name is the only one left.
