IND Enabling Studies

IND enabling studies are pharmacology and toxicology studies that the FDA recommends having done when submitting an Investigational New Drug (IND) Application. The goal of performing IND enabling studies is to provide enough data to characterize the new drug as safe enough to proceed to clinical trials.
