Clary Morgenstern is living with her dad Valentine Morgenstern, Jonathan her brother is living with their mother Jocelyn Morgenstern.
It's Clary's 16th birthday and she returns home after 1 year of living with her now famous lawyer father Valentine (Valentine is good in this story). When she returns home she meets Jace Herondale her brothers sexy best friend. His football team mates and Jonathan's girlfriend Isabelle Lightwood. Clary and A boy become best friends.
