Prologue

It's been a month since Juliana's younger brother, Maxwell, disappeared without a trace.
Finally, she's gained a lead- the dark forest about a mile from her town. Everyone knows that you're not allowed in that forest, as when people enter, they never come out- alive anyway.
Her desperation to find her brother causes her to venture into the forest with her best friend Ariana. But how far will Julie go to get Max back? And will she come out of the forest unscathed? Or will she die trying to escape? Will she succeed in finding Max?
