Foreword

After high school graduation, Haley and her mother move 3000 miles from everything and everyone they know in pursuit of something different. As their life begins to adapt to their new surroundings, Haley meets Carter through a family friend. After learning he's also new to the area, they develop a friendship and soon learn they have more in common than they realize. With the heat of summer, their friendship blossoms into something neither of them expects; but will theirs be a true love story or just another summer romance?
