He's always wanted to see them, but it's forbidden to do so---except on the hallowed night of the Blue Moon Festival, where the elves gather on the beach to dance and drink in the moonlight. With the skeptical company of his friend, Vel, the night couldn't go any smoother, especially when Amaran finds himself falling for Larza, an elf who does a pretty good job of getting on his nerves. But, after an elf is horrifically slaughtered during what is supposed to be a peaceful celebration, all elven fingers point to Amaran and Vel as the murderers.
