Her head was spinning, her mind swirling around with questions and thoughts. Tears spilled out her eyes uncontrollably and no one could stop them. She had already spilled too many, way too many, over a person that had left her behind. But every person had a reason for doing things , right? Maybe her mother did what was best for her. She was trying so hard to stay positive, but she couldn't. What mother would just abandon their child? Her heart was aching as she sat in the corner of the ship, her knees brought to her chest and her face only telling the story of one word. Hurt. But she wasn't alone, she had been alone, but she was no longer alone. Next to her sat someone- someone who had changed her world. Her pilot was sitting next to her, having his fingers intertwined with hers. His thumb slowly stroking her hand and the only things he whispered to her were sweet nothings, sweet promises. Her head was laying on his shoulder and he smiled sadly down at her. No matter how many people would disappoint her, would leave her, she knew for sure that he would stay with her. And her assuming was only proved right, when he spoke up. "I will never leave you, mi amor." Poe Dameron had promised so many times that he wouldn't leave her.
