Chapter 1: Clover's Beginnings

A bizarre way for a human to look at the world: through the eyes of a hen. Or maybe two hens. Clover has spent all of her short life in the torture of the battery cages, forced to lay eggs for humans in unlivable conditions. Spring, on the other hand, has led a life that can be defined as perfect by chicken standards. And then the whole cliché "the two become the most unlikely of friends" thing happens. And you probably haven't thought of it before, but a flock of chickens has its fair share of stories and adventures.
As I said before, it's a bizarre way to look at the world. You might find yourself crawling all over your lawn and pecking at the grass when you realize that maybe your perspective isn't the only perspective.
