Even though Salem had been defeated and the world of Remnant was somewhat at peace, Qrow still couldn't get over the death of the man he loved. So, consumed by grief, he steals the Staff of Creation and fabricates a "perfect" fantasy world where he lives a happy domestic life with Clover.

Meanwhile, the Atlas military, Qrow's nieces, Ruby and Yang, and their friends are trying to figure out what's going on in the small town of Westview.
