Marcus....is that you?" I ask with my courage hanging on a loose thread.

For goodness sake Marcus talk before I soil my pants.

I close my eyes waiting for any response when I feel my magic surge and light illuminates the room.

I turn to look behind me but Marcus stops me.

"I thought I told you not to come out little witch" he breathes close to my jugular vein right at my neck.

"Marcus...." I feel my heartbeat fasten. I should relax. He is my mate after all right.
