Description
When Quinllen loses her father and half of her left leg in a terrible accident, she knows thing aren't just going to go back to normal. But she doesn't expect her mother to decide she needs a 'change of scenery' and drag her off to Peter's Point for the summer. And she definitely isn't prepared for what she's going to find there. From the outside, Peter's Point seems like a quiet, sleepy town, complete with a dinner that serves sup-par pastries and mosquitos that appear to be immortal. But the closer Quinllen looks, the less things make sense. No one seems to have a logical explanation for the weird sightings that keep being reported, and then there's that old house in the woods everyone says is haunted... Along with a future alien tracker, a seven year old boy who's pretty convinced he's a pirate, a tap dancer who's parents knowingly named her Mersey, three slightly out of touch ghosts and a really old diary, Quinllen dives into a decades-old mystery, hoping for answers, and hopefully, stopping evil from overtaking Peter's Point.
