Description
SHADOW OF DUSK is a young adult fantasy novel about a Cailin, a girl who has lost herself in the depth of grief after the death of her beloved sister. Although Cailin was once magical and vibrant, she has become withdrawn and nearly incapacitated by her grief. Cailin's story is set in a land where the threat of war looms between two races, the ancient and magical veredians and the young and vulnerable humans. The human race is in danger of being enslaved and even eradicated by a zealous veredian queen. Cailin, an eighteen-year-old half-human, half-veredian girl, has to find a way to protect the human race. Along that journey, she begins to remember and find herself. There's magic, and war, and a handsome prince, but overall, this is Cailin's story about how not even death can end the love of sisters.
