Description
Arabella was born without a sense of sound. Abounded at birth, being thrown from one foster family to the next, she's never been taught how to speak or use sign language. Now at the age of 16, unable to communicate, she relies on her sense of sight as she quietly observes the world around her. But what she sees causes Arabella to sink into a state of depression - she sees the world for what it is; corrupted and ugly, the way people cheat, deceive and lie to each other. The way the world is literally dying around us due to our selfish actions. Unable to deal with the horror of her reality she conjures up an imaginary world. She creates a world of pure beauty, of wonderful magical things. Of love, hope and faith. Another life that she can escape too. She lives two lives, and two stories that run along side each other; one of the sharp and brutal reality of the world around her, the other a fantasy love story of beauty and excitement, of mystical creatures, adventures and true love. Soon Arabella begins to loses touch with her sanity, as the worlds mix and merge together, and shes left not knowing the difference between reality and fantasy. Not knowing what life is her reality.
