So I walked to his office door and opened it, but before I exited, I turned around: "Do I think you're an idiot? Yes, I do. You're an idiot for attempting to make public enemy number one out of this 'incompetent set of brains' who ultimately has the power to destroy you," I stated matter of fact. "And also? Those people working for you downstairs whose opinions you supposedly don't 'care' about? They're someone's mother, father, sister, wife, husband and they have a life you couldn't even fathom because you make too much money to care. So you're right. I might be trying to exploit you. And I would do it any chance I could get to protect more innocent people like them from the wrath of your greed. And that's why I won't feel sorry for you when it happens," I cut my eyes low at him. He swiftly moved and towered over me, his eyes storming with fury. "Is that a threat?" his voice was dangerously low. I leaned closer to him. "No. It's a promise," I gave him a sarcastic tight-lipped smile. With that, I walked out his office door slamming it behind me. -
