A year after the Incident, George Davidson, son of the wealthy CEO of a prestigious tech company, leaves England to study abroad in New York City. Much to his frustration, his over-bearing parents hire him a bodyguard to look after him while he is away. Over the course of more than half a year as George starts a new chapter of his life, slowly recovering from the trauma of a past experience, he develops a peculiar bond with the tall, green-eyed man hired to protect him.
