A teenage girl lucy is on a journey trying to find his dad but on the other hand, her mother won't let her go outside the mist. She is trying to prove herself strong and capable of living in the outside world to her mom but her mom stops her every time she tries. Lucy gives up and tried to live with the fact that her father is dead till she gets motivation from Alice.
