I close the door behind me and try to catch my breath.

Oh my God, today was such a eventful day.

Dominic eyes me suspicious as I try to contain my loudly beating heart.

I still can't believe I finally ran into her.

It's been years since I last saw her face and it's bothering me more now than it ever has. Oh man, she grew up.

I thought about it all day at work and when it was time to go pick Dominic up, I was blabbering on and on like a fool.

She was the only one there and she looked so damn pretty in her blue scrubs.

God, I haven't been so nervous in a while.

She's so gorgeous.

Her eyes being the only thing I really remember, seeing her again was like a punch in the face.

I haven't always been as nice and humble and it's as if fate has come back around to remind me.

God, she looked so unreal.

I take a sip of my wine slowly, ignoring the sound of someone dropping into the stool next to mine.

I don't even blink, I just gulp down my cup of wine.

A certain smell hits my nose suddenly, making my mind go blank for some reason. I know that smell.

I roll my eyes, twirling my straw around in my glass.

I rub my tired eyes absentmindedly, staring into the distance.

I couldn't sleep last night, the reckless teens that live next door kept on popping firecrackers.

"Hey."

I look over slowly when I feel a tap on my shoulder.

2 dark brown eyes look back.

I bite my lip.

"Hello."
I say politely, immediately turning away again.

I don't know what to say to this man!

It's barely still even processing that he's who he says he is even though he has those familiar eyes. He just looks so different.

Ugh, I'm about to give myself a headache. This man is too sexy for his own good.
