Fifteen bands. Thirteen rounds. One summer they'll never forget. This is Battle of the Bands. ~~~~~ Each summer, fifteen local California bands are chosen to be pitted against one another in a high-stakes game of who will come out on top and who will crack under pressure. The prize: a five-million dollar recording contract and a headlining spot at Wango Tango the following year. Nerves and adrenaline run high as these fifteen bands, many of whom haven't performed anywhere except their garages, are tasked with becoming full-fledged rock stars by the end of the summer. Strained voices, broken guitar strings and heartbreak are the least of these novices problems; this competition puts each band's future on the line. The local music scene may be gearing up for the performances of their lives, but in the end, only one band can be victorious. The only question left is : who's got what it takes?
